256 characters of JavaScript or GLSL, called 60 times a second over a 1920×1080 canvas. Each one is a record in its author's own ATProto repo — small enough that the whole artwork arrives inside a single firehose event, which is why this page has no backend. Sketches are badged by size category, after the demoscene; one of 140 characters or fewer in js also runs on dwitter.net unchanged, and a shader written in demosky's mainImage dialect runs here unchanged. Every dweet runs in a sandboxed frame at an opaque origin with default-src 'none'.
